Andrew Lewis brings professional experience and academic training in organizational change, learning & development, advocacy and international relations to his work in the fields of negotiation, collaboration and partnering, where he provides strategic advice to companies and governments on complex commercial deals and international negotiations. As a facilitator and executive coach, he has led negotiation, client relationship management and conflict management workshops for corporate audiences in over 30 countries since 2003. 

Andrew has worked with a major international law firm for several years to build individual skill and organizational capability to create additional value in corporate transactions and disputes.  He also has significant expertise in healthcare and has worked with several biopharmaceutical companies on successful market access and pricing negotiations with governments in Europe and Latin America.  In addition, he advises healthcare companies on how to engage effectively and manage disputes that arise in their strategic alliances.

Andrew spent 4 years as a senior advisor to the Foreign Minister of the national unity government of South Sudan during the country’s independence process from 2009-13, spearheading negotiations for the fastest ever post-independence accession of a new member state to the United Nations.  He has provided advice on negotiation strategy to governments and political groups involved in disputes that have been on the agenda of the UN Security Council, including in Somalia and Ethiopia.

Andrew holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford, and a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.  In addition to English, he speaks fluent French and Spanish. He currently lives in Amsterdam.
